Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been labelled a one of a kind striker by Galatasaray teammate Mario Lemina, following recent impressive displays for the Super Lig giants, Footynaija.com reports.
Asides his reputation as a prolific goal scorer, Osimhen is also well known for his relentless efforts when Galatasaray do not have possession of the ball.
This season, the Nigeria international has added a creative edge to his game, registering five assists in 27 appearances. That’s just two shy of the seven he produced in almost twice that number of outings last season.
Speaking about the striker in a recent interview, Lemina, who has shared dressing rooms with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gonzalo Higuain and Radamel Falcao insisted that Osimhen is in a class of his own.

“Let me tell you, I have played with world-class strikers, but there is no one like Victor Osimhen,” Lemina was quoted as saying by Turkish Football.
“There is nothing like him. Even on the days he doesn’t find the back of the net, his contribution is constant. He is a persistent threat and never stops pressing the opposition. He defends with us.
“On top of being a complete finisher, I’ve never seen a forward this hungry for the ball. His work rate is relentless.”

Osimhen has scored 18 goals for Galatasaray so far this season, with his latest strike coming in a crunch Istanbul derby clash with Besiktas at the Tupras Stadyumu last weekend.
The Super Eagles star will be in action for the Turkish champions later today, when Istanbul Basaksehir rock up to RAMS Park and he’ll be looking to stretch his Super Lig scoring streak to three games.
