Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze will not be available for Fulham’s trip to St. James’ Park ahead of their Premier League clash against Newcastle United, Footynaija.com reports.
Chukwueze, yet to fully establish himself at Craven Cottage since arriving on loan from AC Milan in the summer, is currently nursing a calf injury that is expected to keep him out of action until late November.
Fulham manager Marco Silva confirmed the 26-year-old winger’s unavailability for the upcoming game against Newcastle while providing a general fitness update on his squad at a pre-match press conference.

“Some good news, or fresh news. Others is not so good, unfortunately for us,” Silva was quoted by the club’s official website.
“Starting from the back, Kenny was already involved in the last game – not 100 per cent, but he was already on the bench. He has had a good week so far and he is going to be in contention for the game.
“Joachim Andersen, as we expected and as I mentioned after the match, has a muscle injury. It’s not so serious, but he is going to be out and not available for the Newcastle match, Antonee Robinson neither, as well. Chukwueze still out, Rodrigo out.”
Potential blow for Eric Chelle and Super Eagles

This latest setback is not only a blow for Fulham, who are keen to build momentum in their league campaign, but also a major concern for Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle.
The Super Eagles face a crucial CAF World Cup playoff semifinal against Gabon on November 13, and Chukwueze’s availability remains in serious doubt.
The former Villarreal man was instrumental in helping Nigeria reach this stage of qualification, providing two key assists in the emphatic 4–0 victory over Benin that sealed their playoff berth.
His creativity and pace on the flank as well as in tight spaces are vital assets for the national team and Chelle will be hoping for a speedy recovery as preparations for next month’s decisive encounter intensify.
