Nigeria international goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke is facing troubling allegations from his wife, Tosin, who has gone public with claims that the Super Eagles star has threatened her life, footynaija.com reports.
In a Facebook post late Sunday, Tosin described a marriage in crisis since Olorunleke’s return from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was the only home-based player in Nigeria’s squad that finished as runners-up.
She accused him of infidelity and violent behaviour that has left her and their children living in fear.
“I know she has bewitched my husband, and desperately pushing him to harm me and my children,” Tosin wrote, naming a woman she alleges is in a relationship with the goalkeeper.
“My husband moved in with her, she pushed him to divorce me, do DNA of our children, I don’t have problem with all that but they should just leave me and my children in peace.”
She further alleged that Olorunleke has forced his way into her bedroom and left her children requiring medical care after his visits.
“Anytime my husband come home now, I must take my children to hospital the following day… Today, I was outside and I locked my bedroom, he came home and break my bedroom door, what does he want and left to lodge with his side chick again.”
Her message closed with a desperate plea:
“Please I don’t know his mission, the world should help me things is getting out of hand… Me and my children are no longer safe.”
Olorunleke has yet to comment on the accusations.
