Super Eagles goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has completed a move to Greek Super League outfit FC Volos, Footynaija.com reports.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper, who recently made Eric Chelle’s national team squad, completed the transfer by signing a two-year deal after leaving Cypriot side Enosis Neon Paralimni. He joins the Greek club ahead of the new season as he looks to reignite his career in a more competitive league.
Adeleye made 30 appearances for Enosis Neon Paralimni last season, standing out with consistent performances despite the club’s struggles.

Before his time in Cyprus, the goalkeeper had a good run in Israel, where he featured for Hapoel Katamon and Hapoel Jerusalem between 2019 and 2024.
His new club, FC Volos, finished 11th in the Greek Super League last season. They will be hoping Adeleye adds stability at the back as they aim to improve their league position.
On the international scene, Adeleye has earned one senior cap for Nigeria, and he was recently included in Eric Chelle’s 39-man provisional squad for the World Cup qualifiers.
Although did not make the final cut, he remains under assessment for future matches and is definitely a part of Chelle’s options heading into the next round of World Cup qualifiers.
As revealed in a report by Daily Post, Adeleye’s contract with FC Volos was officially sealed this week, marking a new step in his European journey. The move offers Adeleye a fresh opportunity to prove himself and potentially challenge for a more regular role in the Super Eagles setup.
