Tom Dele-Bashiru could be on the verge of bringing his time in England to an end, with strong interest from three Italian clubs as his Watford future hangs in the balance, Footynaija.com reports.

The 25-year-old, who joined Watford from Manchester City in 2019, is attracting serious attention from Bologna, Parma, and newly-promoted Pisa, according to TMW.

All three sides are looking to bolster their midfield options ahead of the 2025/26 season, and Dele-Bashiru, whose contract with the Hornets expires next summer, is seen as a cost-effective yet experienced option.

A move abroad now appears likely, with the Italian trio leading the race for his signature.

Since arriving at Watford, Dele-Bashiru has clocked 79 appearances across all competitions, netting eight goals and supplying four assists.

A technically gifted midfielder with an eye for goal, he rose through the ranks at Manchester City’s esteemed academy before making the switch to the Championship side.

With his younger brother Fisayo Dele-Bashiru currently on the books of SS Lazio, both siblings could feature in Serie A next season.

While no final decision has been made, Watford could look to cash in now rather than risk losing him for free next year. For Dele-Bashiru, a move to Italy may offer the fresh start he needs to reignite a once-promising career.
