Victor Osimhen has turned down a mammoth €45 million-a-year deal from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal, confirming his desire to remain in European football, Footynaija.com reports.
The Nigerian striker, who netted 37 goals in 41 appearances for Galatasaray during a standout 2024–25 loan spell, is said to have snubbed Al Hilal’s fifth and most lucrative offer yet.
According to Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, Osimhen has made it clear that no amount of money will sway him towards a move to Saudi Arabia.

Despite Napoli reportedly accepting Al Hilal’s €75 million offer — payable in three instalments — Osimhen has set his sights on continuing his career in Europe.
Talks are said to be ongoing with a major Italian side, while Galatasaray are still hoping to make the loan deal permanent, despite offering significantly less than the Saudi club.
Al Hilal had hoped to wrap up the deal ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, with new manager Simone Inzaghi pushing to land the striker. However, Osimhen’s decision to remain in Europe appears final, leaving the Saudi giants frustrated in their long-running pursuit.
The 26-year-old remains under contract at Napoli until 2026.
