Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has broken his silence following recent rumours linking Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen with a mouthwatering move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal this summer, Footynaija.com reports.
Last week, reports emerged that the Nigerian marksman was on the verge of completing a rather surprising summer move to Saudi Arabia with a number of reputable media outlets claiming Al Hilal had reached an agreement with both the player and his parent club Napoli.
However, popular Nigerian sports journalist Buchi Laba, who is also close to Osimhen’s inner circle, wasted no time in pouring cold water on the report, insisting that while Al Hilal have always been interested, the striker isn’t keen on the move.
Why’s there noise about this news? I don’t get it. The Saudi consortium has always been interested in Victor Osimhen even before his loan to Galatasaray & they offered more money in wages Last year before Napoli got greedy & asked for more

Despite Buchi Laba’s verdict, the speculations have persisted with reports of a three year agreement potentially worth €120 million still doing the rounds. As a result, Galatasaray boss Buruk has now come out to rubbish the rumours, with the Turk adamant that Osimhen is yet to decide his future.
What Okan Buruk said about Victor Osimhen

“Osimhen will look at the conditions. He is very happy here at Galatasaray,” Buruk said in quotes revealed by NTV Spor.
“He is living the best days of his life. The player will decide about his future. He made an incredible contribution here. We need to respect him but we are hopeful that he will stay with us.
“He is a professional player. There are talks about it but Osimhen will make the choice. He will look at the conditions. The part about Osimhen agreeing with the Arabian side is not true.”
Osimhen’s successful loan spell with Galatasaray which saw him notch 36 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions this season is why he is one of the hottest properties on the transfer market right now.

As the Nigerian hitman takes his time to decide on his next move, fans all over the world – especially those whose clubs have been linked to him recently – will be waiting with bated breaths to see which of their teams will get lucky this summer.
