Getafe midfielder Chrisantus Uche has linked up with the Super Eagles squad in London ahead of Saturday’s Unity Cup final against Jamaica, providing a timely boost to Nigeria’s midfield options, Footynaija.com reports.

Uche’s arrival strengthens the squad significantly, following a promising season with Getafe in La Liga. His technical ability, versatility, and composure on the ball could prove valuable as Nigeria seeks to assert dominance in midfield against a physical Jamaican side.
The visa complications that delayed Uche’s arrival also affected goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, who missed the Ghana game. However, both players are now fully integrated into the squad.
Uche has also been included in the squad to face Russia on June 6, signalling the coaching team’s growing faith in his potential to contribute meaningfully at senior international level.
