Despite being eligible to play for Germany and England, Fisayo chose to represent Nigeria, a decision influenced by his strong connection to his Nigerian roots.

Who is Fisayo Dele-Bashiru’s brother?

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru’s older brother, Tom Dele-Bashiru, is also a professional footballer. Tom came through Manchester City’s academy and currently plays for Watford in the English Championship.

Fisayo came through Manchester City’s academy, but he did not get a first-team chance. In 2020, he moved to Sheffield Wednesday, where he proved himself with his energy and attacking play from midfield.

In 2023, Fisayo moved to Hatayspor in Turkey’s Süper Lig. During his debut season, he scored 9 goals and assisted 6 times in 39 appearances, playing a crucial role in the team’s midfield.

His strong performances earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles in 2023, and he made his debut in a friendly against Saudi Arabia.

Fisayo has kept his personal life quiet, but reports have linked him to Nada Bensouna, a Moroccan model based in London. According to Pulse Sports, the two were first spotted together at Lazio’s Christmas party in December 2024.

Bensouna is signed to the Muse Modelling Agency and has a growing Instagram following of 4,600+ fans. While Fisayo has not publicly spoken about their relationship, their appearances together have sparked interest among fans.

Transfer News

Fisayo’s impressive performances in Turkey have attracted interest from clubs in Italy, and abroad. Teams like Juventus, Brighton, Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly keeping an eye on him.
