5. Alex Iwobi

While the spotlight is often on the strikers, Iwobi’s role in midfield will be just as important. The Fulham man has the vision and passing ability to control the game and create chances. His link-up play with others could be the difference in unlocking Rwanda’s defence.

4. Moses Simon

Simon’s experience and pace could be a huge asset for Nigeria in this game. The Nantes winger can dribble and can beat defenders and deliver dangerous crosses into the box.

If Rwanda sits deep, Simon’s ability to stretch the defence could create openings for Osimhen and Arokodare.

3. Tolu Arokodare

Arokodare is enjoying a brilliant season in Greece, where he is the league’s top scorer with 17 goals. The 6 feet 5.5 inches striker offers Nigeria a different option in attack with his aerial ability and physical presence. If the Super Eagles need to go direct, Arokodare is the perfect target man.

2. Ademola Lookman

Lookman has been one of Nigeria’s brightest attacking players in recent months. The Atalanta winger has the skill to unlock defences, and his movement in the final third is a nightmare for defenders. Whether cutting inside to shoot or providing assists, Lookman could be key to breaking down Rwanda’s backline.

1. Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen is back in the squad after missing Nigeria’s first four qualifiers due to injury. The striker has been in top form for Galatasaray, scoring 26 goals in 30 matches since joining on loan from Napoli.

His pace, strength, and finishing make him Nigeria’s biggest attacking threat. Fans will be hoping he can fire the Super Eagles to victory in Kigali.

Nigeria needs a win to boost their qualification hopes, and these five players could be the difference-makers. The Super Eagles have struggled in the qualifiers, but with their best attacking players available, fans will be expecting a strong performance in Kigali.
