Bayern Munich have expressed a strong interest in securing the services of Real Madrid’s midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, Soccernet.football understands.

The French international has become one of Carlo Ancelotti’s most trusted players, making him a central figure in the club’s long-term plans.

As the transfer window approaches its final week, Real Madrid are not expected to make significant moves, having already solidified their squad for the season.

However, despite their reluctance to enter the market, they have received multiple inquiries about their star players, with Bayern Munich’s interest in Tchouameni being one of the most notable.

According to reports from DefensaCentral, Bayern Munich are keen on bolstering their midfield by adding Tchouameni, whose versatility and work rate have made him an essential part of the Real Madrid lineup.

The Spanish giants view Tchouameni as a key component of their strategy to transition into a future without midfield veterans Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

In response to Bayern Munich’s inquiry, Real Madrid issued a firm stance, rejecting any possibility of Tchouameni’s departure.

The club emphasised that the player is integral to their ongoing project and noted that his contract runs until 2028, effectively ruling out any potential transfer.

The absence of a specific financial offer from Bayern Munich further suggests that the German club may have been hesitant about the feasibility of the deal.

Consequently, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has declared Tchouameni ‘non-transferrable,’ reinforcing the club’s commitment to retaining the midfielder for the foreseeable future.
