Carvajal will be a key player for Real Madrid as the Spanish giants take on Italian side Atalanta in the battle of the European champions.
The full-back played an influential role as Real Madrid defeated all opponents to lift the UEFA Champions League in May.
Carvajal was again involved in another celebration party last month when Spain showed their superiority by winning Euro 2024 in Germany.
Should Real Madrid beat Atalanta to clinch the Super Cup, it would be Carvajal’s third trophy in just 74 days after the Champions League and the EURO.
Carvajal is proud to have experienced such beautiful moments but the veteran defender insists he is hungry for more.
“Yes it’s true – perhaps I’m in my absolute best moment, both individually and in terms of the teams I play for,” he told UEFA.
“But I’m still full of hunger to keep on winning trophies for club and country and to keep triumphing for both of them – tomorrow’s the next opportunity to show that.”
Real Madrid will be massive favourites to beat Atalanta on Wednesday and lift the club’s sixth Super Cup honour and their first since 2022.
