Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers scored twice as Rangers fought back from two goals down to beat Kilmarnock 4-2 in Barry Ferguson’s first game in charge on Wednesday, Footynaija.com reports.

Joe Wright’s towering header in the 11th minute put the hosts ahead before Brad Lyons doubled the advantage two minutes later, leaving Rangers with a mountain to climb.
Despite the early setback, the visitors gradually grew into the game. Václav Cerny’s crisp finish in the 35th minute halved the deficit before halftime, offering Ferguson’s side a glimmer of hope.

Rangers returned with renewed energy after the break, and Dessers rose highest to power home James Tavernier’s corner seven minutes into the second half. The Super Eagles forward completed the turnaround in the 62nd minute, volleying in Ridvan Yilmaz’s cross with a clinical first-time finish.
Nedim Bajrami added a fourth late on to wrap up a vital victory, moving Rangers to 59 points after 28 games — 13 points behind leaders Celtic.
Dessers’ brace took his tally to 10 goals and two assists in 25 appearances this season, edging him closer to last term’s return of 16 goals in 35 Scottish Premiership games.
Rangers will look to build on their momentum when they host Motherwell on Saturday.
