Lookman came off the bench at half-time for Atletico Madrid and needed just 75 seconds to make his presence felt against Stuttgart.
The Super Eagles forward picked out Julian Alvarez, who fired home with his left foot to level the contest at 1-1. His contribution proved particularly important after Atletico were reduced to 10 men following a red card for Morten Hjulmand in the 63rd minute.
At Anfield, Ngumoha produced an outstanding display as Liverpool defeated Villarreal 4-3. The 18-year-old supplied two assists, setting up Ronald Araujo before the interval and Alexis Mac Allister after an incisive dribble and cross.
Ngumoha also made history, becoming Liverpool’s youngest player to register an assist in European competition at 18 years and 52 days.
Ayaosi, meanwhile, delivered a dramatic late contribution for Slavia Prague against Fenerbahce. After his side fell two goals behind, the midfielder played the full 90 minutes and produced a precise cross in the 90th minute for substitute Pavel Kačor to score the equaliser in a 2-2 draw.
