Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has sent a message to Guinea-Bissau ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, insisting the team are targeting victory in Bissau, Footynaija.com reports.
Nigeria will face Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday in their second Group C qualifier, with Eric Chelle’s side looking to build on their dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Madagascar.
Adams, who started Nigeria’s opening qualifier in Uyo, believes the Super Eagles have the confidence and quality required to claim another three points on the road.
The Venezia forward says the team’s objective remains unchanged regardless of the opposition, with Nigeria determined to win every game in their qualifying campaign.

“We want to win all our games, and the Guinea-Bissau game is no different. We’re going there full of confidence, hoping to get the three points,” Adams told Footy-Africa.
“I trust this team, and together we’re going to fight to bring glory to Nigeria and qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.”

Adams was handed a starting role against Madagascar as Chelle opted to pair him with debutant George Ilenikhena in attack in the absence of injured talisman Victor Osimhen.
The Venezia striker, however, endured a difficult outing and was replaced by Moses Simon in the 61st minute as Nigeria eventually completed their comeback through goals from Ilenikhena and Moses Usor.
Despite the underwhelming performance, Adams remains one of the more experienced striking options in Chelle’s squad and could once again be in contention for a role against Guinea-Bissau.
The forward will now be hoping to respond with a much-improved display if he gets another opportunity in Bissau, as Nigeria look to make it two wins from their opening two AFCON 2027 qualifying fixtures.
