Eric Chelle has named his starting XI for Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, with George Ilenikhena handed a starting role alongside Akor Adams, Footynaija.com reports.
Stanley Nwabali retains his place in goal for the Super Eagles, with Maduka Okoye and Arthur Okonkwo starting from the bench.
Chelle has gone with an experienced back four of Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and Bruno Onyemaechi as Nigeria begin their AFCON qualifying campaign.
