Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas have set their asking price for Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi amid ongoing speculations about a potential exit this summer, Footynaija.com reports.
Ndidi has attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates following an encouraging debut campaign in Istanbul. However, a report from Sabah Spor indicates that the initial offers submitted by interested Middle Eastern clubs fell below Besiktas’ expectations and were swiftly turned down.
The 29-year-old joined the Black Eagles from Leicester City last summer in a deal worth €8 million, and the Turkish outfit are determined not to make a loss on a player they signed just a year ago. As a result, the club are reportedly refusing to entertain bids below the fee they paid to secure the experienced Nigerian midfielder.

Despite the growing interest, Besiktas are in no rush to cash in on the former Genk star. Ndidi remains under contract until June 2028, with the club also holding the option to extend his stay by a further year.
The Super Eagles midfielder featured regularly during his maiden season in Turkey, making 25 Turkish Super Lig appearances while contributing two goals and one assist.
While clubs from the Middle East continue to monitor his situation, Europe is believed to remain Ndidi’s preferred destination should he leave Istanbul this summer. The Nigerian international is reportedly open to leaving Besiktas, but he has no plans to force an exit.
With that in mind, the Black Eagles are prepared to be patient as they await a proposal that satisfies both their financial demands and the player’s ambitions. Unless a suitable offer arrives in the coming weeks, Ndidi could still be lining up for the Turkish side when the new season gets underway.
