Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi has reiterated his desire to stay and prove his worth at Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille amid ongoing speculations linking with a potential departure this summer, Footynaija.com reports.

Nnadi initially struggled to break into Marseille’s team after joining the French side from Zulte Waregem during the 2026 winter transfer window. But the 22-year-old eventually managed to turn his fortunes around and get more playing towards the end of the campaign.

He featured in Marseille’s last four games of the season, helping Habib Beye’s side secure seven points from twelve to finish 5th after a difficult season and qualify for next season’s UEFA Europa League.

Despite his late resurgence, recent reports have suggested that Marseille could be willing to offload Nnadi in the summer transfer window amid their current financial struggles as well as growing interest from England.

However, Le 10 Sport claims that the Nigeria international is very satisfied with life at Marseille and has no desire for a change of scenery despite multiple approaches from clubs in the Premier League.

“I feel good, I play, so that’s the most important thing,” Nnadi said.

“My future? I am happy to be here. I’m grateful for every opportunity I can have. As a player, I think it’s really nice to play at the Velodrome. So I want to do it as much as possible.

“I don’t know my future, but I want to stay and prove that I deserve to be here. I arrived at the most difficult time, I needed time to adapt, I seized the opportunity when it presented itself.”

Nnadi’s desire to remain at Marseille does not entirely rule out the possibility of an exit this summer. The French club currently finds itself experiencing financial difficulties that may require player sales to balance the books.

If a suitable offer comes in and Marseille decide to sanction his departure, the young Nigerian midfielder may have no choice but to move on and continue his budding career in a completely new environment.
