Bayern Munich have entered the race for Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen, with the Nigerian striker now on the German club’s list of targets as they consider options to strengthen their attack, Footynaija.com reports.
The 27-year-old has drawn interest from several top European sides following his form at Galatasaray, where he recently reached 50 goals in 59 appearances to become the fastest player in the club’s history to reach that total.
In early January, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl rejected an approach from Osimhen’s camp, saying there was no need for another striker with Harry Kane settled in the role. Kane joined Bayern for a fee that could reach €100 million in 2023 and has a €65 million release clause in his contract, though he is understood to be content in Munich.

Any pursuit of Osimhen will most likely depend on changes to Kane’s situation or a reassessment of the squad’s attacking needs.
Transfer expert Ekrem KONUR reports that Bayern Munich have entered the race for Victor Osimhen as they explore options to strengthen their attack.
Osimhen signed for Galatasaray permanently in July 2025 for €75 million from Napoli, becoming the most expensive incoming transfer in Turkish football history. This season he has scored 15 goals in 21 games across all competitions, with nine coming in the Turkish Super Lig and six in the Champions League.
The striker has ties to Germany through his girlfriend and spent two years at Wolfsburg between 2017 and 2019.
Arsenal and Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs tracking his availability.
