Dani Olmo has revealed that he has no worries about potentially squaring up against Jude Bellingham in a midfield battle when Spain and England lock horns in the 2024 European Championships final in Berlin, Soccernet.football reports.
Olmo has played a starring role for Spain in the tournament, registering three goals and two assists which makes him the frontrunner for the Golden Boot award ahead of England center-forward Harry Kane.
The 26-year-old midfielder has managed to put up these impressive numbers despite only starting in one of La Roja’s first four games of the tournament.

With his current tally, he has now matched David Silva’s record for the most goal contributions at a major tournament by a Spaniard and could potentially surpass it with a goal or assist in Sunday’s final.
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham has also delivered the goods for Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions on a couple of occasions, translating his incredible form from Real Madrid’s continental double winning season into his performances for England in Germany.
The 21-year-old scored the only goal of the game in England’s tournament opener against Serbia, before coming up clutch against Slovakia in the Round of 16 with a bicycle kick in the last minute of normal time to send the tie into extra-time where Kane’s header eventually won it.
However, La Roja’s highest goal scorer of the tournament is losing no sleep over the prospect of facing the Los Blancos star on Sunday.
“I’m not afraid,” he told Cadena SER’s ‘El Larguero’ show.
“Bellingham is a reference point there, football is played through his boots. He is always in the thick of things.
“He is a player to be taken into account, but I don’t fear anyone.”
