It was a weekend packed with Nigerian excellence across Europe, as Kelechi Iheanacho, Rafiu Durosinmi, and Akor Adams all found the net, while Chidera Ejuke and Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered standout performances for their clubs, Footynaija.com reports.

In Scotland, Kelechi Iheanacho scored his third goal of the season in Celtic’s thrilling 3-2 win over Motherwell.

The Super Eagles striker calmly converted from the spot in the first half, setting the tone for a dramatic comeback that saw Daizen Maeda snatch victory in the 98th minute. Iheanacho, who joined Celtic in the summer, now looks fully rejuvenated after difficult spells in Spain and England.

In the Czech Republic, Rafiu Durosinmi continued his rich vein of form for Viktoria Plzen, grabbing his ninth goal of the season in a chaotic 3-3 draw with Hradec Kralove.

After missing a penalty earlier, the 22-year-old Nigerian made amends late on with an 88th-minute equaliser.

Over in Spain, Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke combined brilliantly as Sevilla stunned Barcelona 4-1.

Ejuke came off the bench to set up fellow substitute Adams for the fourth goal in stoppage time, sealing a statement win over the defending champions.

It was Adams’ second goal in as many games, while Ejuke registered his first assist of the campaign following an injury-hit start.

Meanwhile, in England, Chiamaka Nnadozie was exceptional despite Brighton Women’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The Super Falcons goalkeeper produced six outstanding saves to keep her side alive, reaffirming her status as one of the world’s best.
