Highly-rated striking talent, Alvin Obinna Okoro, has ignited a transfer battle between Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan as both clubs look to acquire the services of the 20-year-old from Venezia ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign, Footynaija.com reports.
Juventus are known admirers of Okoro having shown interest in signing the youngster during the 2025 winter transfer window and the Bianconerri have now set their sights on pursuing the exciting forward once again this summer as they aim to strengthen the ranks of their B team, Juventus Next Gen, which currently plies its trade in Serie C.
However, Tuttosport reports that the Old Lady is set to face stiff rivalry from Inter Milan, who have only just recently launched their B team and are gearing up to have them compete in the Serie C alongside Juventus Next Gen for the first time ever next season.
According to the report, Inter have taken a concrete step toward signing the young forward, while Juventus are offering a loan deal with an option to buy, one that could become an obligation if certain conditions are met.
Why do Juve and Inter want Alvin Okoro?

Both the Bianconerri as well as the Nerazurri view Okoro, who has proven himself a capable player at this level of Italian football, as a potentially shrewd acquisition that will greatly help the causes of their respective fringe outfits.
Okoro was a standout performer while on loan at Vis Pesaro from Venezia last season, contributing six goals and four assists to help the Serie C side reach the promotion playoffs. His versatility across the frontline, being able to play as a supporting striker or out wide on the flanks, is another trait that makes him such an exciting prospect for his suitors.
Born in Vicenza to Nigerian parents, Okoro remains eligible to represent one of Italy or Nigeria at international level.
