Italian football transfer expert Matteo Moretto has delivered a huge update on the future of Super Eagles and Atalanta star Ademola Lookman ahead of the summer transfer window, Footynaija.com reports.
Lookman’s career has seen a remarkable rise in fortunes since his move from RB Leipzig to Atalanta in the summer of 2022. He has since established himself as arguably the most important player for the Bergamo-based club in recent years.
His impressive stint in Bergamo has caught the eye and the reigning Africa Best Player of the Year has now become one of the most sought-after talents across Europe. According to several reports Lookman is currently attracting plenty of interest from all over the continent.

With the situation surrounding Lookman’s future previously shrouded in some bit of mystery, Moretto has now provided what looks to be a definitive update on the Nigerian forward’s future, stating categorically that he is set to take his talents elsewhere once the current campaign comes to a close.
“We told you before that he would leave Atalanta with a 99% chance: now we can say that he will do it with a 100% chance!,” the Italian said in quotes revealed by Calcio Mercato.
“There are many clubs in Serie A and the Premier League that want him but be careful of some Spanish leads. He might not be the only one to say goodbye to Atalanta.”
A host of potential suitors including Barcelona, Juventus, Napoli, Newcastle United and even Nottingham Forest have been credited with interest in Lookman so it looks like the Nigeria international will not be short of options when the summer window opens.
