Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche has no plans to leave Crystal Palace in the January transfer window despite recent reports linking him with a return to Spain, Footynaija.com understands.
Uche’s season-long loan move to the Premier League in the summer generated huge excitement, especially among Nigerian fans, following his breakout season with Getafe.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a meteoric rise from grassroots football in Nigeria to the top tier of Spanish football, where his energetic displays earned him a national team call-up earlier this year as well as a dream move to the Premier League.

However, things have not gone according to plan so far at Selhurst Park with the Nigeria international struggling to cement a spot under Oliver Glasner.
Uche has managed just six appearances across all competitions so far, featuring once in the Conference League, three times in the Premier League, and twice in the Carabao Cup.
He has played only eight minutes in the English top flight since joining the Eagles and even had to train with the U21s in order to build match fitness earlier in the campaign.
These struggles have fueled talk of a potential exit, with reports suggesting an early return to Spain could be on the cards. But as revealed by Footy Africa, sources close to the player have dismissed such claims, insisting Uche remains committed to fighting for his place in the team.
Uche, who featured for the Super Eagles during the September international window, fell out of the squad in October due to his limited minutes in England. Still, the midfielder is said to be focused on turning his fortunes around and reviving his career in the Premier League with Crystal Palace.
