Fulham’s manager Marco Silva has confirmed the availability of Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze ahead of The Cottagers’ crucial Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Footynaija.com reports.
Chukwueze has missed Fulham’s last three matches due to a calf injury picked up while on international duty with Nigeria during the last break. The winger has managed just 63 minutes of action since joining the Cottagers on loan in the summer, with recurring fitness issues limiting his involvement at Craven Cottage.
However, Silva, while issuing an update on his squad, has now revealed that the 26-year-old is back in contention for selection as Fulham look to get their campaign back on track with a win against Wolves.

“Things look better,” the Portuguese coach revealed. “Smith Rowe and Harry Wilson are in contention. Rodrigo Muniz and Samuel Chukwueze [are also] in contention. Raul Jimenez is a doubt, but Joachim Andersen is in. Jedi [Antonee Robinson] is out.
“After the Cup game, things start to look a bit better. It’s been completely different the last two days. Andersen is going to be in, definitely – Robinson is still out. Emile Smith Rowe is going to be in contention as well, and Harry Wilson.’
“I have to make a decision [on Muniz] because, as you know, four-five weeks out. But now, in this moment, he has some good days with us. He’s getting better. Raul is still a doubt, we are going to decide with him tomorrow morning. He has some problems, the same problems he had against Villa.”

Fulham head into the weekend without a win in their last four Premier League outings, having suffered defeats to Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Arsenal, and Newcastle United.
Silva’s men will be desperate to halt that poor run, and the return of Chukwueze, whose pace and creativity could add much-needed spark in attack, provides a significant boost as they prepare to face a struggling Wolves side still searching for their first league victory of the season.
