Harry Kane has firmly dismissed criticism of Bayern Munich’s recent performances, asserting that the former German champions ‘dominate every game,’ following his brace in a convincing 3-0 win over Union Berlin on Saturday, Soccernet.football reports.

Kane’s two goals helped Bayern open a gap at the top of the Bundesliga, as Vincent Komoany’s men confirm their domestic dominance amid questions about their form on the European stage.

The Bavarians had faced scrutiny after a heavy 4-1 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League raised questions about both Vincent Kompany’s tactics and Kane’s impact against elite opponents.

However, Bayern have responded emphatically, scoring 12 goals across their last three matches — all of which they won while keeping clean sheets.

Kane himself has contributed three of those goals, including Saturday’s brace, highlighting his sharpness and ability to capitalise on Bayern’s relentless attacking style.

“It’s fantastic,” Kane told Sky Sports after the match. “Every game we dominate, not only with the ball but also without the ball with our pressing. We managed to keep another clean sheet today which is great. Everyone is hungry. There’s still a long way to go, but if we keep going like this we’ll be OK.”

Reflecting on his form, Kane added: “Physically, mentally — I feel at a really high level at the moment. But of course, without the players around me creating the chances, it wouldn’t be possible.

“The team is doing great, we’re playing a really great style of football. With the ball, without the ball, we’re making it difficult for teams, and when you’re dominating a game like we did today, you’re going to get chances and I always back myself to put some away.”

Kane will now look to extend his strong run when Bayern take on Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday, aiming to continue their winning form on multiple fronts.
