Liverpool Football Club is reportedly eyeing a potential move for West Ham’s dynamic talent, Mohammed Kudus, as a possible successor to Mohamed Salah, Soccernet.football understands.

The Ghanaian winger, who made a high-profile switch from Ajax to West Ham last summer, has been turning heads with his scintillating performances this season.

Despite heavy interest from various clubs, including London rivals Arsenal, Kudus opted to join David Moyes’ side in a reported £38 million deal, a veritable steal in today’s inflated transfer market.

Since arriving in England, Kudus has made an immediate impact, notching up an impressive tally of 7 goals and five assists in 30 Premier League appearances.

While West Ham’s season may not have lived up to expectations, Kudus’ standout displays have not gone unnoticed, with top clubs now closely monitoring the versatile forward.

According to insights shared by David Ornstein on The Athletic’s podcast, Liverpool is actively seeking to bolster their attacking options, particularly in the wide areas.

“From what I hear, a wide forward is among the areas Liverpool are exploring heading into the summer window,” Ornstein revealed.

“I don’t know if Kudus is an option, but he is a brilliant player, has enjoyed an excellent debut season, and it would be surprising if he wasn’t on the radar of Liverpool and any other leading club looking to strengthen in that part of the pitch.”

While speculation swirls around the future of Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, indications suggest that he is likely to extend his stay at Anfield beyond the summer transfer window.
