Bayer 04 Leverkusen have made their darling fans an uncommon but significant offer to commemorate their remarkable Bundesliga title-winning campaign and record unbeaten run, Soccernet.football reports.

The German champions are offering the club’s fans free tattoos to celebrate their historic success this season, the champions said on Friday.

Bayer Leverkusen have already been crowned the Bundesliga champions without losing a game, dethroning perennial winners Bayern Munich. It is the first time in history that Bayer 04 will finish as German league kings.

Xabi Alonso’s men also overcame AS Roma in the semifinals of the Europa League on Thursday to reach the final, where they will trade tackles with Italian outfit Atalanta BC.

Bayer could land a memorable treble as they are also in the final of the German Cup final – where they will face Kaiserslautern.

Interestingly, Die Werkself are unbeaten in 49 matches across all competitions, surpassing Benfica’s long-standing European record set from 1963 to 1965.

It is the stuff of dreams and something Bayer fans can be proud of.

“A special action at the end of a special season. Bayer 04 are offering fans… until the end of the season the opportunity to choose one of the many Bayer 04 tattoos for free,” the club said in a statement, as per BBC.

“Book your appointment now to eternalise this unique season on your skin.”

Bayer Leverkusen are four games from winning a possible treble and completing an unbeaten season.
